Now I won’t lie, occasionally you get a guest that might be having a bad day and lost their money and they might not be pleasant. They know me by name, and I know them by name. Obviously not true, I’ve met so many good people and have formed so many relationships with our guests. People will say that “gamblers” are mean and rude. The guests that you will meet are great, some of them just need a little extra care. The same goes for Twin River, if you show up on time, follow the rules and are nice to the guests you will have a great time. If you pay your dues on time every month and read your contract you will never have a problem with them. Players Club Department is part of the Laborers Union Local 271, they are a great union and will answer any questions you have about pay, benefits, membership. They care for all of their employees no matter what people say. All of the managers from directors, department manager, supervisors are great to work with. I can’t speak for other departments, but I love my department. Next month will be 10 years I’ve been working in the Player’s Club Department, and I can say with all honesty it’s been some of the best years of my life. I started at Twin River Casino in 2011, fresh out of high school.
